The mission of Chesed Shel Emes Society of California

  • To provide Taharah for men and women in Southern California. In ANY funeral home, Jewish or not. Regardless of whether the deceased is observant or secular, affiliated with a congregation or not.

  • CSE Society will work diligently to prevent cremation, which is absolutely forbidden in Jewish Law.

  • The Society will offer compassionate guidance to the bereaved family of the mait/maitah, leading to proper Halachik burial.
